Ron Sr. established Family Auto of Wny inc and repair in the 80s. He learned mechanics training from his father. The shop was a customer hangout place. Ron Sr grew the shop, and more customers came. My name is Ron Jr and I worked with my father. From a young age, my father would bring me to the shop and let me move cars around the lot. I was responsible and careful from a young age. My father was well known for doing anything for his customers. We have had cars park in the bay shop, and my father would stay up all night and day. This grew into a friendship. The customers would have to come back to check on the car and stay around. They have a break and lunch with my father. The shop would be mostly empty because the customers would become good friends with my father. A customer would come to service and later return to purchase a car. They would bond over football and other games that were showing. They would either grill and eat together. The customers still like to check on the Family Auto of Wny inc and repair. They will call and ask about shopping hours or any new car. They also show concern when there is no traffic outside our shop. It was a happy time for both the family and customers.
