The vehicles speed through the stop signs after turning onto Butler Blvd from Blossom St. The cars blow through all the stop signs starting with Surprise St. Fox St., and finally, Dover St. on the way to Hempstead Turnpike. I have called the Town of Hempstead for information on placing speed bumps, which they said was done by the State. The 5th Precinct promised patrols which never came out. I even contacted NBC's Investigative Reporter Pei-Sze Chang, who witnessed the vehicles blowing through the stop signs but indicated that since there were no accidents reported, I was a man on an island. This was discouraging considering my Wife had been hit by a young driver who accused her of blowing through the stop sign, yet NBC claimed it was not enough to make a report. No one has helped, and the vehicles still speed past. Carrie Solanges has been silent on this matter until elections when he resurfaces seeking votes. He is a typical hypocrite in office."
