We had a closing today and she was going to be our mobile notary. The appointment was scheduled for 8:30. She calls me at 6:45 this morning (who calls at that time) to confirm the appointment today between 8:30-9:30. I would think if an appointment is scheduled for a certain time I am not expecting an hour leeway, but whatever. I confirm and wait until it is time for the signing. We called at 9 to see if she was on her way and says she will be there around 10:30-11 and we are like what? No, the appointment was for 8:30-9:30. She says she overslept and could not make it. I could not believe how unprofessional. We really wanted to get this done so we said we could do it tonight at 6pm and she said yes, that works, so 6pm it was. We call at 5:45 and she said was running late, there is a lot of traffic, so she will be here around 6:30-7. So should you manage your time better if you are expecting to be somewhere during rush hour? 6:45 comes along and I call and ask her if she is on her way and where she is. She says she is running late, she was at another appointment in Queens Village. At that point we were fed up with this woman and her lies and told her her services would not be needed and we would be rescheduling the appointment. She did not even bother to reach out to us and inform us she was running late. Had we not called her we would be waiting for this woman for hours. Also, super unprofessional to say she missed our appointment because she overslept. And the continuing lies about her being "on her way" when in reality she had not even left.
