AIA New York | Center for Architecture

**Complimentary, open to the public** **Accessible and free of charge to all visitors**, the Center for Architecture is a cultural hub for architecture and the built environment in New York City. Our exhibitions and programs explore the complexity of the City’s urban fabric. They also have a global perspective, with the Center in conversation with the international community. The Center for Architecture shares a home with the AIA New York Chapter, an organization of more than 5,000 architects. This gives them a distinct advantage in their work: they draw on the ideas and experiences of the City’s most-talented and innovative architects. The Center produces exhibitions and programs that showcase these ideas and experiences, such as the annual Archtober festival, New York City’s Architecture and Design Month—a month-long celebration of architecture and design in New York. The Center also provides quality design education for K-12 students in New York City.
