Sonia Melo & Alfonso Bausilio founded the AS Ballet Academy Bern in 1996. We the AS Ballet New York Ltd. share our love for Arts and experience internationally in Dance with two Ballet Academies in Switzerland & one AS Ballet Academy in New York City. Since 1996, we have been producing world-renowned dancers. Our flagship dance school is located in Switzerland. We're proud to offer the same high-quality training in our classes. All levels of Ballet are available for kids, teens, and adults. As an International School, we are proud of the fact that our students can form an early understanding of what other children think and want. It will give our children a huge advantage in their future, whether it is for their life or future career as dancers. Our students have won many competitions, in France, Germany Italy, the USA, and Switzerland. The Theater Bern is a great advantage for us to be able to welcome students from America to perform in Switzerland. Also, we hope to replicate the program in the US. Our mission: to connect dancers from different countries, and teach them how to appreciate and respect different cultures.
