As a business owner and advocate, I value professionalism and clear communication. In this instance, I was referred to this firm specifically for receiving legal guidance on trademarks. I asked for clarity and advice on what made the most legal sense; specifically, if registering one logo would impact my ability to register a different one later, I expected a straightforward legal explanation. I felt dismissed and that I should just choose a random option without meaningful guidance, so the lawyer’s recommendation was useless. There were also repeated time spent references and “unlimited hours,” despite having nothing to report to the lawyer for four weeks. Consultation calls are offered, yet later the time spent on those calls was framed as excessive. I understand my attorney works on the phone, but this felt inconsistent and disappointing.
After raising my concerns, I was told that everyone else had a five-star experience and was encouraged to remove my review in exchange for a refund. The firm’s offer was to refund 50% and stop working, which I received three weeks after, but it felt unfair to pay for services not rendered.
