First Variety outlet, Graham Ave located in Williamsburg. Opened the second store in 2009, the Greenpoint outlet, which is situated on the quiet part of the neighborhood cornering McGolrick park. 2014 at our third café in Bushwick, we started roasting our own coffee to control quality. 2016-2018 christened the year of variety, as we opened two outlets in Manhattan; Chelsea and Upper East Side. In 2019, we will expand our roasting operations and move to a stand-alone roastery situated at East Williamsburg. Variety will keep serving New York with great coffee in 2022.

The coffee shop receives mixed reviews, with several customers complimenting the coffee's quality, low price, friendly staff and cozy seating. The place is frequently busy, but the crowd adds to the charm; the bakery items the customers tasted are well-prepared, although not all customers think so. A common minus is the coffee's weak taste; most customers found it pleasant but didn't supply a strong buzz unless you drink multiple glasses. The stores, like home gardens and vivid atmospheres. But unbelievably sour tasting coffees are noticeable.
