Jessica Houde Morris is the founder and head instructor at the Houde School of Acting, where she has been developing and training successful actors since 2004. Her students have appeared in an array of television shows (The Haunting of Hill House, The Vampire Diaries, General Hospital, Blue Bloods, Criminal Minds, and many others), feature films (Insatiable, Tag, Bad Moms, Minute Man, Cherry, Snatched, My Blind Brother, Diary of a Wimpy Kid), and national and international commercials (Nike, McDonalds, Honda, Subway). Jessica spent six years studying under Robert Carnegie, one of Sanford Meisner's top students, at Los Angeles' prestigious Playhouse West. After her training, Jessica became a Playhouse West instructor and acted alongside James Franco and Jeff Goldblum in a play directed by Shawnee Smith and Scott Caan. Houde School of Acting is proud to be partnered with Playhouse West Los Angeles, one of the most well-regarded acting schools globally. Our in-person or online classes are suitable for novices or aspiring actors. We specialize in the Meisner Method but also offer personalized training in Improv and Script Analysis, as well as Self Tape Coaching. We also offer On Camera & Scene Study classes to enable actors to improve their craft and audition for roles.
