MetroHealth Department of Dermatology

MetroHealth System moves beyond the medical to address community well-being and health, which includes affordable housing, cleaner environments, access to food and fresh produce, easy transportation, legal assistance, and more. MetroHealth wants to prevent and treat diseases effectively. More than 600 physicians and nearly 9,000 staff members, including 1,700 nurses, work on this goal every day. MetroHealth is the health system of Cuyahoga County. They offer care to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. MetroHealth, which was established in 1837, operates four hospitals, four emergency rooms, over 20 clinics, and 40 other locations throughout Cuyahoga County. The organization serves more than 300,000 people, two-thirds of whom lack health insurance or Medicare/Medicaid (MetroHealth Department of Dermatology, 2023).
