About No Place No Place is an artist-run gallery located at 1 E Gay St. Columbus, Ohio. No Place was established in 2012 when it occupied an old mechanic shop in Merion Village. Its name comes from a sign on the door that read 'No Place Like home. The gallery moved to Columbus' downtown in 2021. No Place is a platform for contemporary art from the Midwest and worldwide and offers creative work that is valuable to an international audience. No Place also hosts various DIY music events, sound installations, and talks in addition to its regular exhibition programming. No Place is a project that revels in utopian connotations, celebrating and promoting artists from across the world. Its structure has been meticulously constructed with the use of re-used and recycled material and walls given by neighboring arts institutions. The concept was realized by creating exhibition spaces out of repurposed and up-cycled materials and walls from neighboring art institutions.
