Lanter Legal, LLC Client Feedback Overview Negative Feedback 1. First time customer and would not use again. I contacted Lanter Legal in May of 2025 inquiring about a free consultation for a custody case. However, I was charged $130 for the consultation. The attorney took a substantial retainer, and after checking, no one was available for my trial date. This delayed my trial for five months. The attorney did minimal work on my case, so I filed all the motions myself. The attorney got the wrong time for the pretrial hearing also. The attorney moved to withdraw from my case based on “fail to cooperate,” under which he begged me to cooperate more. They never transferred my case materials or any documents to my new attorney. I was later told that my retainer was consumed, and I owed them more money. However, after reviewing the invoices, they are supposed to pay me over $300 as there is a refund they never gave me. So I ended up handling my case pro se and won in November 2025. Poor communication, billing errors, unprofessional practices. Do not recommend. 2. First time customer and would not use again.
