Our academy has three locations which are strategically designed to offer the best art courses in the metro area. Our institute is widely known for the safe environment it provides to students and their parents. We encourage every child to learn and grow in the art form. ArtWorks Academy was established in 2007, and its inception is attributed to the founders, Jonathan and Cheryl Morris, Michael, and Katie Morris. Katie and Cheryl first met while growing up in Edmond, Oklahoma City, and a bond developed over the years. Art was a meaty morsel of discussions that they always had; it was around this time that they started toying with the idea of opening their own performing arts academy. ArtWorks Academy of Performing Arts was founded in August 2007 when they met while performing together. Their future husbands were also acquainted; Michael Morris and Jonathan Morris were brothers, and for the 16 years that the idea had been birthed, the two couples were family. They opened the academy after years of planning. The first production of Disney’s High School Musical was so successful. The institution started in 2000 by word-of-mouth, and over the years, it has widened its scope, serving many kids from all walks of life.
