G&R Auto Parts is a third-generation company that has been a pioneer in the auto recycling industry. For over 40 years, this legacy has given customers quality used auto parts. Lawrence Greene founded G&R Recycling in 1956, setting the stage for the company's transformation into a national recycling facility. Alan Greene has been in business since 1961. He turned the 1,200 square-foot building on 11 acres into a 26,700 square-foot recycling center. In 1978, he started focusing on General Motors. In 1983, the Automotive Recyclers Assoc. This recognized G&R as a member of the Automotive Recyclers Assoc. is licensed as an Oklahoma part recycler. Our plant is clean. It is clean and environmentally friendly, meeting all standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency. In 1990, the current generation used the ADP/Hollander yard management inventory system to modernize and improve the company. This system electronically connects over 2,100 yards across the U.S. and creates new marketing avenues. A salesperson from the outside will implement an aggressive marketing program. This is to boost customer satisfaction. G&R has started the process to become a Certified Automotive Recyclers Program member. This program will recognize G&R as an industry leader because it will show G&R’s commitment to high standards. This program increases value, image, and profitability. G&R actively participates in the local Chamber of Commerce. This keeps them active in the community and engaged with the public. G&R’s future goals include growing a larger facility and improving production, quality, and service.
