Oklahoma Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain is the name given to the Oklahoma Arts Institute. A diversified multidisciplinary arts education experience is provided by the nonprofit, private school. Their objective is to offer exceptional, multidisciplinary arts experiences that develop talent and instill a passion for the arts. The organization has been in operation for more than 40 years and brings nationally recognized artists to Oklahoma. It provides summer and fall programs in fine arts to Oklahoma's talented youth. There are also continuing education workshops for adult learners. The location of the programs is Quartz Mountain State Park and Lodge in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma. Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute is a two-week summer arts academy where Oklahoma's top high school students in the literary, visual, and performing arts are admitted. Every student accepted is offered a scholarship. Students win through competitive auditions all over the state. Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute is the only multidisciplinary program of its kind in the United States. Oklahoma Fall Arts Institute Oklahoma Fall Arts Institute is a four-day series of weekend workshops designed for teachers and adults of all abilities. The program offers instruction in all areas of the performing, visual, and literary arts. One can also find workshops tailored for educators who may be eligible to get full scholarships. Over 50,000 Oklahoma children go to school every year by their teachers attending Fall Institute. Public and private partnership provides Quartz Mountain's Oklahoma Arts Institute funding, as well as the name of the unique collaboration between the two sectors. The organization obtained huge funding, including additional money from the Oklahoma State Department of Education, from the Oklahoma Arts Council.
