He was employed in the restoration and processing of the Cain's Coffee Building before starting the renovation of the Howard Johnson's Restaurant from 1952. The building now offers incredible services after it was gutted to the core. The building is iconic for Howard Johnson, and it had a hotel that was located to the south as well as the striking orange steeple and roof that were synonymous with the company's buildings.
