Reliable For more than 40 years, Meg Saligman has created permanent public art and large-scale murals. She’s produced work in countless locations worldwide. Her seminal Philadelphia murals remain a significant factor in today’s mural movement. Saligman is passionate about making public art accessible to the most vulnerable communities. Her designs are anchored in community engagement and collaboration. She intends for her work to encourage social interaction and the pursuit of shared experiences. The installation was inspired by Pope Francis’ 2015 visit to Philadelphia. In 2016, Republican and Democratic National Conventions also prompted Saligman to create public art.
