Southbox Startup Studio

Southbox Startup Studio is a finance and development workshop. It is a subsidiary of Motion Picture and Television Productions, which is a company located in the United States. Its independent production house specializes in finance, development, and co-finance (including production incentives and rebates). The company has its offices in Los Angeles and Atlanta. Southbox Entertainment was originally founded in 2017 in Philadelphia. After working in venture capital and tech for 10 years, Jon Gosier, the CEO and founder, left to establish Southbox (formerly known as Southbox Entertainment). His past work experience is as a venture investor and tech entrepreneur in Silicon Valley. Southbox is the company's name. The first office was small and nondescript in South Philadelphia. Jon, who had a passion for narrative and film, later invested more in motion pictures.
