Client Feedback Compilation: 1. Do not hire this Michael Casey to “represent” you in anything of importance. Michael Casey charges $6,500 flat rate fee for a divorce that ending in mediation. With absolutely no assistance from him other than waiting till the last moment to answer the court with my documents that I had given him one month in advance. When we got to mediation, he knew zero details and what we should do, as far as negotiations. We it weren’t for my wherewithal and due diligence, I would have suffered like the rest of his clients. He even had the audacity to try and talk me down from standing firm on my negations. He said that I was asking and expecting too much. There was $6M on the table in assets. Once again, he knew zero details if it weren’t for the other attorneys documents reporting what they were claiming. The mediation attorney and Michael both wanted the case to be settled under any circumstances at the table that day. He didn’t want to go to court to actually earn his money, and the mediator just wanted her payment only if there was an agreement for dissolution that day. Attorneys are the same as politicians. Strictly in it for the money and will weasel their clients for every dime. I fear for those that have fallen victim and just chalked it up to “sometimes that’s just how this works in a divorce...” For shame. He doesn’t even understand Trust law. What a joke.
