She delayed our case by over a year, as she randomly went MIA every few months. To end a disaster of what was supposed to be a custody battle, she didn’t uphold her end of the contract and left me with a huge surprise bill. Probably the most unprofessional “professional” I’ve ever come across. Her language, timely response, care for clients and legal advice could use some serious work. Stay far away!!! She made sure my kid was cool, calm and collected before meeting with the judge. Which also made me feel at ease knowing he was at ease. I HIGHLY recommend her!! Crazy smart and detailed. Great communication. Listens to what you say and delivers what you need. Not another bottom-feeder living off the system or promoting fear. Clear. Concise. Confident. Can't recommend enough. I took some time to think about this review because this situation is something I don’t take lightly.  I don’t recommend divorce.  In fact, I recommend avoiding it at almost all costs.  No one ever wins, especially your precious children, even when things are amicable.  It changes everything.  You need to be aware and prepared, because your kids are going to suffer considerable heartache until they are adults and out of your homes, regardless of the choices and sacrifices you make “today.”  I know people say it is unhealthy to stay in a marriage for your children; however, unless there are real and serious reasons to permanently dissolve the marriage, you should at the very least try to figure things out before making a snap decision.  But sometimes, no matter what, you just can’t avoid it.  Last year, I couldn’t avoid it.  God knows I tried.  I fully accept my own responsibility for my part in our struggles over the years, but there truly was no saving the mess our marriage had become.  I knew I needed a lawyer to help me piece together what was left of our family, and Andrea was recommended to me.  During my initial consultation, she and her staff welcomed me into her office and she asked me to share “our story.”  She then explained the divorce process and addressed all of my questions and concerns with compassion and empathy.  She also gave me all of my options, including examples of what that might look like for our new family structure as time went on.  Everyone thinks their story is unique, but I actually think our situation is far from typical, and it is probably fair to say that it came with unbelievable challenge after challenge, which also meant that the situation did not always have a perfect “legal solution.”  I was probably not her typical client either.  I know my apprehensiveness and often unwillingness to do what she initially recommended to me  based on what the law recommended made her job intensely harder.  She spent a lot of time thinking outside the box for solutions-but she always came up with something that helped me live with myself.  I told her I had to be able to sleep at night knowing I tried everything in my power until the very end to do the right thing even when there wasn’t a good choice, and she never lost sight of that.  She was always willing to do whatever it took to bridge that gap for us, to keep peace without war, to provide safety, to be my backbone during my brokenness, and to make sure our kids were in the best possible situation moving forward.  She reassured me that we would be ok, and that my heart was always in the right place.  I was completely devoted to doing what was best for our children and nothing else mattered to me.  Not money.  Not things.  Not even myself.  No matter how bad things got or how hard the choices were, I just focused on our kids.  And she got it.  Apparently, many people enter divorce with an agenda to “win.” I cannot imaging thinking of any divorce outcome as a “win.”  I just wanted peace for our family and for our children to be ok, and Andrea and her amazing staff stood by me and respected my desire to find the best possible solution for our children with the situation at hand.  She and her assistant, Alex, were part of God’s saving grace during one of the most impossible and difficult times in my life.  I didn’t want any of this to happen, and I cannot and will not ever recommend divorce unless it is necessary, but if you are facing truly irreconcilable circumstances, she is absolutely the best.  It’s been close to one year since he originally filed for divorce.  That was one of the hardest and scariest days of my life and the beginning of months of living through hell’s hottest fires, and I am not sure I will ever get over it, but I made it through it.  Andrea and Alex both promised me that things would eventually get better after everything was finished.  And by the grace of God, they were right.  I will never be able to thank her and her staff enough for supporting me from where we were to where we are today. Highly recommend Andrea and her team. Down to earth, explains things clearly and always has your best interest in mind. Her and her team are punctual and thorough dotting and crossing everything. Nothing about what you are going through is easy but you can trust they will do the best they can for you.  It all becomes one big team. Andrea and her staff helped me through one of the hardest times of my life. Getting full custody of a child as a single father in this state isn’t only “not easy,” it’s almost impossible… through her guidance and extensive comprehension of the law, she guided me through the storm tho. It wasn’t always easy at times, I had my doubts and moments of despair, but Andrea is a master strategist and she picked her battles when needed and also laid dormant when needed… which ultimately led to our victory. I couldn’t imagine where I would be today if it wasn’t for the services of Sipes Law PLC. I truly owe her a debt that I could never repay, and that is having full custody of my son and enjoying every day together to the fullest… Sun Tzo said: “when you are weak, make your enemy think you are strong.  When you are strong, make your enemy think you are weak.” Andrea certainly has that same strategic mentality and I would recommend her services to the world I can’t recommend Andrea Sipes enough.  She is an amazing trial lawyer, and I was incredibly thankful to have her representing me during a hotly contested divorce.  She is brilliant, strategic, discerning, and organized.  I appreciated the thorough and effective communication that I received through each step of a long and difficult legal battle.  She doesn’t sugar coat things and tell you want you want to hear, but she is honest and compassionate in her delivery of difficult information. There are a lot of good attorneys, but one thing that stands out about Andrea is that my children and I were more than a paycheck.  She not only is a sharp and effective attorney; she also cares about her clients, which makes all the difference in the world.
