In November 2016, Milla passed away due to Batten's disease, a fatal and inherited neurodegenerative disorder. Milla's House bears her name in her memory and that of her legacy. Milla also has two sisters, both of whom tested Milla's House also bears the name of her legacy. In November 2016, Milla died of Batten disease, a recessive, inherited, and fatal neurodegenerative disease. As a result, the Gieselmanns have two daughters, 8-year-old Ann Carlyle, who tested negative for Batten disease, and 5-year-old Elle, who tested positive. Dana and Frazer Giselmann follow Batten disease research, but there is no cure. The children's and the family's grief journey has been complex and dirty. Dana and Frazer Giselmann note, "The Center for Good Grief is essential to our family. Frazer emphasizes that the middle of grief is the center of healing and restoration in his life. Over the last year, the midtown location has seen his wife and mother cry in the lobby in the morning, seen his extended family and close friends sitting in the reception area before a group session, and encountered their daughter meet her counselor here for the first time. Dana and Frazer Giselmann find the grief process and families in the best place at the worst time. "They have been through very hard family times but have been able to rely on Milla for all the hard times," says Dana Giselmann. Her life got worse from a trip to a family compound to a hospital filled with nurses and doctors. She passed away, and now it is the center that helps us understand our grief as a family. Cultural wages her life, noted by many people in many different ways, life and death. Dana Giselmann added, "Milla had become great through her life, touched many people in six years, and left a mark on the community." This home will honor Milla's life by supporting the community Giselmann and the family out. "This Memphis community has been enriched by the Center for Good Grief, and it is our honor and privilege to donate and start the Midtown spot, also we remember her daughter Milla," said Dana Giselmann. She added that the place should help the community heal and restore itself. Milla may help many people who experience bad times.
