Founded in 2005 by Grace Byeitima, Mbabazi House of Style was named after her late mother, Mbabazi Lily Rujumba. The founder decided to remember her because of her tailoring skills and hard work. Grace remembers her last words: “With skills and handwork, you can achieve in your life”. Her mother and some of her siblings were supportive of the venture her daughter had taken to creating good and beautiful clothes. Creating a successful business is a journey accompanied with hard work, which will earn her an income she uses to cater her needs, that is. Moreover, this work is inspirational, and some of the women and men who go wrong without jobs for their survival will be in a position to have something to do.
