Orijennal Art was founded by Jennifer Elaine, who is also known as Jenn. She is a professional fine artist who enjoys sharing her powerful aesthetic Black art with homes and offices all over the world. Jenn has always been creative, and her parents could see that from the time she was born. She was very expressive when she was young. Jenn graduated at the top of her class in 2004. Her quirky personality led her to the University of Kentucky. Later, she decided to transfer to the University of Louisville to finish her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Her two sons are her whole world, and she loves watching them play sports, ride bikes, and play outside. They are all each other's best friends. Jenn moved to Memphis in 2010 and has embraced the city and its unique culture by pouring her creative ambitions into her work. After Jodi broke her ankle in three areas, she couldn't move for eight weeks. This was the same time when God showed her her talent and passion for painting. She wanted to learn how to paint while she was still healing. Art therapy was something that was soothing for the soul and also comforting for the bones. Jenn has always been artistic and could sketch or draw with precision. She found out how much her soul loves creating masterpieces after getting her first paintbrush. The artist's bold and vibrant paintings portray Black women with an impeccable attitude. Her work celebrates their natural curls and kinks that they have, which are associated with radiantly melanated skin. Jenn is a soulful artist who works from within to please her audience with each painting being a portal to her soul. Her work reflects the strength, resilience, beauty, and dopeness of the Black women she adores. Jenn enjoys big Afrocentric hairstyles and makes liberal use of vibrant colors in her work. She often shows the black women she paints wearing kinky curly locks with bright, vivid backgrounds.
