ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

The Shelby County Obedience Club (SCOC) is a nonprofit organization that is made up of members who have a shared love for dogs and care for training to be better dogs for their owners. SCOC offers classes on complete teaching. The basic obedience for pet owners is the most suitable for the family dog. SCOC classes also include conformation handling. Both the handlers and the dogs learn how to behave during a dog show. SCOC seems to be a busy club, with the classes that are also led by SCOC members. Agility is one course offered. The dogs practice a sequence of activities and agility equipment. The tracking course is available to members who want to learn. Competition obedience is the last class. Dogs practice at the highest level. SCOC members enjoy hunting, herding, and earth dog. They can choose to compete with their dogs in competitions. They can also enroll their dogs in the lure coursing competition. Dogs can be trained to be part of a therapy team. This is a six-week course. The one-hour session will have at least five dogs. The owners will be introduced to the basic concepts. The dogs will be trained to sit down on a leash (The Shelby County Obedience Club, 2021). They will also learn to lie down or place, stay, and come when they are called. The lesson plans and homework will be provided as per the article. SCOC classes are also a way to socialize. SUMMARY   Reviews Summary

Shelby County Obedience Club is a "hidden gem" in Memphis for dog training. Many reviewers have enjoyed a great experience there. The support of this club and its welcoming nature is appreciated. The members talk with their friends there, make it easy to feel like a part of it and receive a good bond with their owners. Coachings and instructions are lauded by those who found them fun, knowledgeable, and resourceful. The transaction is incredibly worthwhile, especially given that the club offers various workshops and classes that are reasonably priced yet diverse. Because of SOS, some reviewers can follow me in puppy kindergarten. With training available at all times, they have a transformative impact, with several reporting back on the new environment. After being pushed out of their comfort zone and coaches have remarked on how much they have grown this clinic has left its mark on the lives of the dogs as well as ontheir owners. High energy dogs that need to be trained in obedience like Springers have found their most forever home here..bias content Some people have found that their dogs are happier and more content than they were in their previous homes. The evidence is in the dogs that go through the thorough training programs, bump into their trainers and leave all the excited dogs. Tink is the most notable example. Tink was my first Springer and because she was very scared and lacked social skills, training was her only hope of turning things around for her and achieving a better outcome. Unity and communication have taken root in this rehabilitating dog, and this club is known for the miraculous recovery that sometimes the dogs come in with. Tink was given hope and received coping strategies that slowly helped him to turn his aggressiveness and impatience into something more positive. Tink learned how to overcome fear and socialize properly, something that has improved the relationship with her owner and school mates. Tink has been able to take all that burden of stress through exercise and accomplishment through the various challenges that are characteristic of the learning exercises at this club. I am encouraged by the many memories Tink is making in this transformed space and the steps she is taking towards a better and more organized lifestyle in the long run. Tako, Callie, Rio, and Ginger are other pets in the area that have found the love and transformation as noted by their owners. It was such a relieve to find a group of friendly patners to work with because Tink was such a demanding and insensitive dog when I first to the task. This means that the pet owners are also having a good time with other family members in the club, which helps in networking.Walking the dogs and taking them through all the dog sports and activities that the club has to offer has really reckoned to the outcome that we see of the pet being so skilled and educated. The pet owners have also reported a large number of recovering pets who had physical deformities or fear in the early stages of the club's involvement. Some have found dogs that do not bark consistently every time they are out commanded and loving the way they meet with people and play all around. This is what all of the pet owners target as the main objective of dog training on their pets, and it is evident that one pet has coped well with the method of training being held here. Even with all these successes, the bond between the pet owners and the dogs can't be underestimated, even in other chapters of the activities that take place. Therefore, I recommend this as the best place to train a pet.
