It inhibits the lines' formation and contraction, resulting in a smoother appearance of the skin (Dc, 2022). The FDA approved JUVEDERM(r),XC in 2006 to correct moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles (Dc, 2022). To temporarily add the volume of skin in areas where moderate or severe facial wrinkles occurred, JUVEDERM(r),XC can be injected. This can result in smooth skin appearance.
