The Mary Galloway Home Foundation

Since its founding in 1896, the Mary Galloway Home - A Nonprofit foundation - has been committed to providing a place for women with financial need to retire. The Mary Galloway Home Board of Directors decided to convert the Mary Galloway Home into a grant-making organization so that more people can receive assistance. The Mary Galloway Home Foundation grants to programs and organizations that meet the financial and other needs of women aged 55 and over in the Mid-South. The grant period is one year, and funds are given to a program or project, whether it is new or continuing. The Mary Galloway Home Foundation will review each grant application according to how well it satisfies the Foundation's mission statement: "A haven for retired women with financial needs to live in a secure and safe environment." (Mary Galloway Home) Our ideal was established over a century ago: "protection and comfort in a dignified and harmonious setting for retired women with financial need."
