Austin City Ballet

Austin City Ballet (formerly The Conservatory Dance Theatre) was founded in 1991 to give both local and Interlochen Arts Academy and Austin Conservatory of the Arts dancers a platform to experience professional performances as young artists. Now in our 30th year, the school is a premier training organization in Austin and serves Cedar Park, featuring three studios in Pflugerville, Round Rock, and Georgetown. Ballet training follows the syllabuses of The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), Vaganova, Cecchetti, and Bournonville. Jazz, Modern/Contemporary dance, Tap, and Musical Theatre are vital components to creating an all-around performer. We will also continue to offer a wide range of opportunities to suit our students' diverse interests and abilities. The company’s dancers, instructors, and guest artists provide additional benefits to students. The school's mission is to teach world-class dance education, choreography, and dance performance in a family-friendly atmosphere.
