At Mainstay Tattoo, we were created by Zach Nelligan and his lifelong friend and business partner Cory Schofield. Cory's stepfather, Steve Goodspeed, is the COO of Mainstay Tattoo, and Travis Furton, Cory's cousin, is our Art Director. The goal is to be the only completely traditional tattoo shop in Austin, emphasizing the use of hand-painted tattoos. This means our tattoos are made by our small and intimate team. We are eagerly awaiting walk-ins this year. For those who have that itch to add to their collection, we invite you to come down to the gallery and choose from our ever-changing flash wall. For those looking to start their collection, we also accept custom appointments. Although we specialize in traditional western tattoos, our tattoo artists can also create custom and modern tattoos. We like to think of ourselves as a one-stop-shop for all your body art needs. So, if you have any tattoo ideas or questions, feel free to give us a call, and we would be more than happy to help!
