When we opened our doors in 1995, we were showing folk art from the Deep South. We chose the name Yard Dog to reflect this. We now show the work of artists worldwide, and we add artists we love, regardless of category; we mostly add artists we are excited about. We carefully select artists whose work matches what we currently offer. Everything submitted is reviewed, but we are very selective. We receive many submissions because the internet makes them easy to send. The best way to reach us is snail mail or email. We respond to these requests as quickly as possible, but we are not always able to reply. Please do not mail photos, and do not bring your artwork to the gallery.
