Barking Hound Village - Dallas Customer Feedback Summary Hattie Mae and Mr. Woody attend daycare and boarding here, and it has been such a wonderful experience for them. The staff is caring, attentive and truly treats every dog like family. We always feel confident knowing our pups are safe, happy and well cared for. We absolutely love Barking Hound Village and recommend them to everyone! The boutique atmoshpere really sets them apart--it's clean, welcoming and not overcrowded like some larger facilities. Hattie Mae and Mr. Woody come home tired and content everytime, which says it all. We highly recommend Barking Hound Village to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving daycare/boarding facility. I love that they share pictures of your dog. They provide exceptional service and my dog loves going to visit!! Our puppy is nervous and scared in most new places including daycare/boarding. The staff at Barking Hound Village Dallas has been amazing working with her to make her feel comfortable and safe. We have done both daycare and boarding with great results. They are very conveniently located near Love Field and always friendly to work with. When we had significant travel disriptions, they were very flexible and accommodating with our reservation. Will be back in the future! My French Bulldog has attended daycare regularly (3-4x per week) for about 8 months now, and I couldn’t be more grateful for this place! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive to my puppy, who thoroughly enjoys her time with the staff and the other dogs! I really appreciate that they have the dogs on a regimented schedule as opposed to them being confined to one playroom all day. The dogs get personal time, indoor play, and outdoor play time (each with similar sized dogs). For personal time, each dog has a roomy open-air suite with food/water bowls, a bed, and toys (if you opt to pack them in their daycare bag). For flat-faced breeds like mine, they provide slanted bowls. Although there aren’t livestream cameras, the team posts photo dumps to the Facebook group every afternoon! Also worth noting, the team is quick to flag any upcoming vaccination needs or behavior changes. They keep a very close eye on the dogs. Lastly, the hours they offer are unmatched. Drop-off opens at 7:30am and pick-up closes at 7:45pm. In summary The attention to detail that the staff has is exemplary, and their patience and love for dogs fosters a tail-wag inducing environment! Quick and easy check-in with very friendly and attentive staff. When I picked up my dog, she was happy and ate all her food and treats as instructed— and she got an excellent nail trim. Her belongings were returned to me and had been labeled appropriately so I didn't have to worry about them being lost during her stay. Very good first experience at Love Field location! Already know and love the Lake Highlands location, where my dog has stayed many times. Very nice staff and wonderful facility, Great first day! So excite for our Smokie to visit again. BHV sees the importance of having its staff trained and certified by our Pet First Aid 4U program. Staff is knowledgeable and compassionate about the dogs they care for.BHVV is grateful for the efforts staff has taken, and they continue to work for the best practices for the dogs. I board Orion, my very active Labrador, and the staff is always so nice and welcoming, greeting him by name and apeasing his spunky spirit. The front desk is very responsive and I feel comfortable leaving my dog here. We had never used Yardstick before, but they went above and beyond. Very nice facility, staff is super nice. They send you photos throughout the day of your fur babies. Will definately use them lots in the future. Packages like pup cups available. BHV is a special place for my dog to go to daycare while I work, and he loved his first boarding experience. The staff are so friendly and helpful and it feels very clean and safe. My dog drags me in every time! Great staff and facility. My 4 month old German Shepherd is very happy at day care!
