About this business

At Dallas Ballet Center, we are renowned for exceptional production quality. We produce full-length dance ballets that feature professional sets, choreography, lighting, and costumes. Brent and Judy Klopfenstein, Dallas Ballet Center's artistic directors, prioritize quality performance experiences for students. The onstage experience extends beyond dance education and builds students' roles as future art patrons. Students are also eligible to audition for the Dallas Ballet Company productions. Dallas Ballet Company was the Klopfensteins' 501(c)(3) non-profit in 1989, allowing pre-professionals more performance opportunities in the local community. Dallas Ballet Center focuses on excellent instruction in a friendly learning environment. Our school consists of eight professionally designed, spacious studios where nurturing instructors deliver all dance disciplines. They encourage students to thrive and seek excellence. Our Dallas Ballet Center curriculum aims to develop strong technical and performance foundations. Ballet classes are categorized into Pre-school, Elementary, and Pre-Professional. This division allows students to learn classical techniques appropriate for their age and ability. The course work puts a premium on positioning, connectivity, agility, and performance.
