I would give O'Neil Wysocki negative stars if possible. They are an extremely aggressive firm when it comes to dealing with their own clients, but are simply negligent when it comes to representing the interests of their client and their children. Their only true client is the judge their representing you to and you do not matter to the firm, nor does your family. The firm cost my family over $100,000 in sanctions in the period of 6 weeks as well as essentially stealing our trial retainer. The firm failed to communicate clearly with me on all levels, broke attorney-client privilege, and ultimately left me hanging one week before trial. They operate more like a criminal operation than a law firm and my family and I would advise you to avoid this firm at all costs no matter who recommends them to you.
O’Neil Wyaocki might be a firm with efficient lawyers but I personally did NOT have a good experience with them. It took me over six months to bring myself to even write this review because lawyers make me uneasy and I’m wary of them. I was assigned Ms. Diamond who charged me a retainer of $10,000 for my divorce. After our first consultation for which she charged me an additional $450, a divorce petition was filed. I was told it was a simple ‘vanilla petition’. 4 days later, I decided to withdraw my petition and I was charged $2500. There was no financial assets division or custody discussions and my spouse was not even served. There were also no more meetings or calls with Ms. Diamond in those 4 days. For filing a ‘vanilla petition’ and responding to all of 5 emails, I was charged $2500 for 4 days. Her legal assistant Ms. Lisa, was very kind and responsive but was unable to help in anyway except explain the invoices to me which was of no help. People seek legal assistance at some of the most vulnerable moments in their lives. It’s lawyers like Ms. Diamond who not only give their firm but also their profession a bad reputation. Needless to say, I did not and will not go back to them or recommend O’Neil Wysocki to anyone.
