The representation was very disappointing, my ex-wife who was living with me filed for a divorce based on common law marriage, the judge declared that we are considered married on the year I started to file a joint tax return which my accountant did only for the purpose of saving me money since I was supporting my ex-wife. First they recommended an appeal which would not make sense because I did file a joint taxes so trying to reverse the judge decision based on tax filing they could have done it during the trial not to mention that appeal would have cost me thousands of dollars, second after spending over $40,000 in legal fees in two month my lawyers were reactive they would wait for the opposing counsel to file a motion then they would respond to that motion they were mostly focusing on completing the discovery which was something that would hurt my case and put me in a very week position not to mention would have cost me a lot of money on top of maybe spending over a couple of hundred thousand dollars in legal fees. At that point, I realized that I already lost the battle and I am about to lose a lot of money so I reached out to my kids and asked them to get involved so we can stop the bleeding so we negotiated an agreement for myself and my ex-wife and we both signed it and we instructed the lawyers to stop and just file the final divorce decree. On top of this costly and unpleasant stressful experience my legal assistant and the accounting lady both were unfriendly. That summarizes my experience with this firm. Next time i will do better job selecting my legal team hoping there is no second time. 6. This client also had filed a divorce case with this firm.
