Waterbabies is a class that teaches your little one to swim in a safe and loving environment. This class is for you, your baby, and a taste of what Waterbabies classes will look like. The orientations are held on Saturdays. If you need another time to attend, just let us know. For more information or to join, call us today. 8-10 Second Submersion In Waterbabies, babies learn to safely submerge for 8-10 seconds. They are safe to move 3 feet in a safe environment. We also strive to strike a balance between giving your baby enough freedom to swim and not enough to make them feel stuck. The instructor will ensure they feel comfortable in the water so they do not feel scared or nervous. Walking At the waterbabies level, your baby will learn to walk three feet in the water. This is the level of getting the baby confident and excited in our classes. Our babies are now confident to jump in and kick themselves to the edge of the pool. This level is fun and involves a lot of activities to help your baby gain confidence and self-belief. 5 feet Kick Finally, 8 to 10 seconds and three feet are not enough in swimming. So, babies need to learn to move five feet. Advanced Waterbabies graduates sometimes draw a large crowd during their lessons. This level is so exciting that your baby may not wish to leave the water.
