Air Tech of Houston AC & Plumbing Feedback Summary 1. Excellent service. Quickly diagnosed the issue and advised on seasonal maintenance benefits. 24 hrs no cooling could have been prevented. A lesson learned. Great service tech. Purchase agreement covered. 2. Red Flag - look elsewhere. There are far more professional and transparent service providers available. From the outset customer service representatives and management were unprofessional, dismissive, and rude. Services needed and costs were not completely explained, and we were hit with unforeseen charges. Most concerning was that our property's technician did not pinpoint and inform of all problems during his initial arrival. When phoned about the misdiagnosis, we were told that we would have to pay an additional $95 for the technician to return, despite the company's failure. Moreover, the manager failed to address the technician's oversight in evaluating the matter and the customer service representative's unprofessional behaviour. Instead of taking responsibility, the company provided excuses, stating they are very busy due to servicing multiple calls. This was unacceptable and denoted a lack of responsibility and customer respect. Additionally, the company is overpriced and underdelivers in both their work and customer service. The company must do their job and treat their customers with professionalism, transparency, and consideration. 3. My air technician was quick and efficient with my AC repair and I really appreciate him coming out in this heat to fix it. 4. Shaun came to troubleshoot my AC, explained the problem and quickly fixed it. One happy customer. 5. I have used Air Tech a couple of times on different projects and they have been great every time. They are knowledgeable, punctual, communicative, friendly, hardworking, and affordable. They even offer other services that I did not expect, such as electrical wiring and the installation of a generator. They are an amazing company. 6. I has the best experience ever with Airtech First the secretary Naomi was a god send She was the nicest person ever when I booked an appointment. Very personable and was either to talk to . They are very busy this time of year but she managed to get me in a day later. I called on Sunday. Thank you Naomi. The Technician Randy Harris was very professional, personable and found the problem very quickly. I highly recommend you call them when in need of service. They set me up on a matanence program that is really going to work for. So glad i found them. They was listed as one of the top air conditioning service. They proved it today. 7. I had an extremely frustrating and frankly alarming experience with this A/C company. They quoted me nearly $19,000 for what they claimed was a necessary repair/replacement. That number didn’t sit right with me, so I got a second opinion. The actual fix? $2,800. Same system. Same issue. No $19K overhaul needed. That kind of price difference isn’t a judgment call—it’s either gross incompetence or an attempt to upsell a homeowner into an unnecessary and massively overpriced job. Either way, it’s unacceptable. This experience completely destroyed any trust I had in their recommendations. When you’re dealing with something as important as your home’s A/C in Texas heat, the last thing you need is a company trying to push a five-figure job that isn’t even required. Do yourself a favor: get a second opinion before agreeing to anything with this company. It could save you tens of thousands of dollars. 8. My technician Claudia was excellent, very knowledgeable about my situation and fixed the problem immediately. I am very happy new member. 9. Guys came into the house laid our drop cloths did an amazing job would highly recommend this crew to install again!!! 10. Michael is very professional, quickly diagnosed the drain was partially clogged and fixed the problem. 11. Air Tech replaced hot water heater for me and did a great job. Also cleared some clogged sinks at the same time. 12. I am very pleased with the way things worked out with AIR tech they send a representative to my house. He inspected my home AC system told me what needs to be done. I wrote my notes and I listen to what he was saying and I concluded that I would hire air tech to install my view TR a.m., eight furnace and air condition condenser. The next day, the AC technician team showed up to my house install. Love you TRANE air condition system they were very professional. Very nice easy to talk to, and answered all the questions that I had. I do recommend Air Tech for your air conditioning needs. 13. We scheduled an appointment for Thursday and the tech showed up, was able to write up the quote, but unable to do any of the work (Day wasted to meet this tech). This included work on two A/C units and was scheduled for the following morning. A tech showed up and I proceeded to show him the two units and the requested work. He said he had only been assigned to work on one and knew nothing about the other unit (this was not his fault). He called a supervisor who I then explained I wasn't going to waste another day off waiting on them to send another team for the other unit. He arranged to have another team come out to accomplish the work on the 2nd unit. Sadly it took three guys over 6 hours to install one drain pan, two cut out float switches and two drain lines. With mixed up communication, the long time to make the repairs, I don't feel I can give a high recommendation. However, I will give the guys doing the work kudos as they were very nice and worked hard.... just took a long time. 14. DJ was amazing! She really took the time to help us. She was knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend! 15. Great service as always with Airtech. Jay has been the technician sent out to my house a couple times now and his service is exceptional. He goes out of his way to answer questions and goes above and beyond every time. Much appreciated
