East view is a great facility to bring your family6. This place is absolutely disgusting, there is poop on the curtains. My grandmother died from untreated UTI. This place needs to be throughly investigated. They can put on quite a show to have you believe that you’re loved one is cared for with dignity and respect. Most of the staff smell like marijuana. Died June 16 2025 5:59pm neglect of blood thinners , pneumonia medicine, spread rumors about visitors while spending last few days with patient then asked to leave due to rumors. Patient was physically abused by nurse speech therapists did "Bully" gang signs. My mom and I normal people that gone threw abuse of all kinds threw life. At nursing home my mom was physically hit teeth got knocked out before mouth covered full of blood lied it was bc of brushed teeth. I left after staying for 3 days and nights being ASD & I.D.D vistor daughter. Speech therapist gave water knowing in caused physical internal damage , internal scarring and shorter life to live in final stages of T.B.I and all timers not dementia at 53 years. Was not safe to say from Tramic brain injury the abuse. Crack addict other side of wall hurt my mother. She never received inhaler. Sat unchanged wrong size diapers entire time as patient. Bed bound and became barely verbal and stared from Crack against her will. Had morphine withdrawls. Eyes were always 90% dialed among visits. Died of fever. Did not check AC temperatures did not clean internal rust after I told worker. Did un normal food smells even the office and managers. Ants from patients keeping food in rooms unable to always care for self. Ants inside machine nightstand. I was asked to leave afterc3 days tested positive for pneumonia after my mom not being 100% treated and taken off meds against medical advice of bayshore hospital. I called and they said call my older sister who knows almost nothing but I was the one taking care of her talking to doctors talking to speech therapists. Died of a fever did they check on her take her temperature NO they only did wen I visited and I asked a worker there. Fever in arms hands and swelling was ignored at bayshore and at nursing home. Both facilities neglected my mom. Im devastated. Do not choose this place especially bed bound and purree food diet can't defend self asked for help. She needed one on one care 24/7 and I was asked to leave after days. 2weeeks later after my phenomena was gone chest pain she died on Monday I was supposed to be there Wednesday. That one nurse my mother got worse around her. She spread lies about me. Neglected my mom. Did not care like a normal person would for a patient. Both facilities neglected her and refused to care.11. I really appreciate East View health care & rehabilitation. I learned a lot here and willing to recommend it around me. People are very welcome in here and are good to share they're experiences. On 10/25, around 11pm, some very brave employees put themselves in danger to help me. Thank you15. Eastview is a facility. Mandy(ED) and Laura(DON) are great. They have put together a fantastic team who genuinely care about the patients and each other.
