Welcome to Helena's, offering a hidden oasis of relaxation in the upscale St. George Place of the Galleria Area. Our 9,000 sq. ft., luxury spa is eco-friendly and aesthetically pleasing, embodying warm and personal family-owned service with the cleanliness of a doctor's office. Our full-service spa has 18 treatment rooms, including couples massage rooms, pedicure stations, and an infrared sauna. Helena and Her Spa Helena's Wax & Day Spa was founded by Helena, who was born in Governador Valadares, Brazil. At just 15, she made sugar wax by hand, an early introduction to hair removal. Helena developed her homemade sugar wax and began using it on herself to control hair growth. These experiences laid the groundwork for her career as a certified aesthetician. Helena designs special blends of the right mix to offer long-lasting waxing treatments. In 1993, Brazilian immigrant Helena moved to the United States, where she honed her sales skills. She worked in various retail outlets before opening her first Dallas restaurant. In Houston, Helena followed her dream of becoming a licensed aesthetician. In order to refine her waxing and facial expertise, she worked at various Houston spas after graduating. In March 2006, following years of preparation, Helena's Wax & Day Spa debuted. Helena approaches all her customers with empathy and professionalism, and that is why she is so successful.

The spa reviews are generally positive and highlight Helena's expertise and sweet nature, as well as Nancy and Melissa's incredible customer service. Everyone felt comfortable in the atmosphere and Joy's massages were also enjoyable. The spa is known for being approachable and offering budget-friendly services, but being patient and understanding, especially with first-timers. Clients have lovely and therapeutic experiences, with somewhat rigorous facials and waxes, but they don't mind, because Helena is great at listening to them and trying to be empathetic. Everyone will come back for the top-notch treatment, and many people also really appreciated Helena for good reason.
