Houston Obedience Training (HOT) Dog Club

HOT Dog Club The HOT Dog Club members are a volunteer organization, and they promote the training of dogs and their handlers through numerous club activities. These activities include AKC Trials and seminars, CGC tests, Show & Go's, dog obedience demos for the public, fundraisers supporting dog charities, and stewarding. They are committed to providing education and training for dog owners and preparing them to show their dogs in obedience, rally, and conformation events for competition or personal enjoyment. The Houston Obedience Training Dog Club offers Obedience classes, Rallies, and Conformation in its indoor fully-matted, air-conditioned, matted ring. These are open to both club members and the general public. Our lighted regulation field is available for all levels of agility. Houston Obedience Training Dog Club members teach all classes. All instructors have been active members of HOT Dog Club for at least 2 years. They assisted classes under the supervision of a full-time instructor. Instructors of the advanced classes are those who have achieved the same title as their dogs. Our CGC Prep class is taught by CGC Evaluators. Offering HOST 2020 AKC Obedience and Rally Trials
