Rice Bikes

Rice Bikes is a student-run bike shop located on the Rice University campus in Houston, Texas, and is currently managed by Rice Bikes. Our shop provides quality repair services at affordable prices. Students, faculty, and community members from Houston are all welcome at our location. Rice Bikes was founded in February 2011 at Sid Richardson College by two Sid Richardson sophomores. Initially, Rice Bikes was a vehicle repair shop. It transformed into a company managed by students who also rent and sell bikes. During the spring of 2017, its current location, a garage in the Multicultural Center, was settled on campus. Rice Bikes continues to grow and has proven to be an invaluable resource to both the Rice community and the greater Houston population. Rice Bikes is a student-run bike repair shop on the Rice University campus that provides full repair and maintenance, as well as rentals and refurbished bikes. We seek to reduce Rice's carbon footprint and promote mobility over vehicular travel.
