Kirt preferred to import the married cabinets J and K Cabinets than the domestic ones as they relatively cost less. He chose the cabinets with white Shaker doors to minimize budget while making his kitchen look beautiful. White Shaker is a popular choice for modern kitchen remodels because it makes a kitchen look brighter. The modern look of Kirt’s kitchen is further enhanced by the Silestone Quartz counters and the herringbone backsplash. The herringbone look in the backsplash is achieved by the use of subway tiles. This design trick gives the kitchen an extra layer of depth and interest while keeping the all-white color scheme. The kitchen’s growth complementing appliances, cabinet handles, and sink were made from stainless steel, just like the cabinets. The kitchen sink was an under-mount type with a single bowl. The handles for the cabinets and the sink reinforced the metal theme. The kitchen’s detail perception was completed by wall outlets and the ceiling-tiered lighting. Ted designed Kirt’s bathroom with the same countertop and a mirror floating above it to maintain modernity and cleanliness.
