Calm Waters Counseling

My experience and enthusiasm are in counseling children and teens. Being a child is difficult. My specialty is getting to the heart of the problem quickly and meeting children and teens emotionally wherever they may be. I can vary my counseling to suit each client with an eclectic approach. I use many counseling techniques and adapt to the client. It can be Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and play therapy. I am looking at the person at home and at school and where they want to go. Counseling is a process that I use to meet clients where they are at this moment in their lives. It is difficult sometimes to see the way forward in life. Somehow, writing music and singing really keep me feeling good. I love my guitar, which I've been playing for more than 25 years. Meditation and long walks also help my mental health. I provide talk and walk sessions in my office.
