Client Review Summary After two horrible experiences with family law attorneys, but not willing to give up the fight for my son, I decided to give Matthew Hill an opportunity. My initial consultation I was on the defense with Mr. Hill because of my frustration with my divorce decree and an ex who I felt was breaking the decree left and right and “getting away with it”. I was very open about what I wanted changed (and it’s quite a bit) but most importantly wanted my son to come to school with me, as I am a teacher. He was quite blunt, telling me what I wanted would need to happen in steps, if at all, and he can’t guarantee the outcome. Frustration set in again, but didn’t last long. After multiple phone calls/emails (that were ALWAYS answered right away) *** Thank you Tina (she is very knowledgeable and empathetic) *** we were able to have a court date to set a temporary hearing. Hill was professional, calm and very prepared. 3 hours later, my son is now enrolled at my school and the rest of the details played out in my favor as well. We are still working on other issues and Tina and Matt have continued to be just as responsive, professional and “in my corner” as they were from the beginning. I couldn’t be more thankful. 2. He is biased, based on his account of his own nasty divorce, and based on zero satisfied female clients commenting. I made absolutely no demands against my husband. I paid $1,700, with no results. I did encounter bad attitudes from the accountant and sometimes from the legal assistant. I was not even counseled about options after the cancellation of my divorce. With understanding and patience of their refund policies, they delayed and made excuses. I was astonished that after waiting a few weeks after a deadline, I magically called on the right date and it was going out in the mail that day. I am very dissappointed!! 10. Mr. Hill and his staff have done an excellent job for my initial use and I used him again when my ex-wife took me back to court trying to get it allowed for the boyfriends to spend the night. They were thorough with my case and explained any questions I had to my satisfaction. If I need a family law attorney in the future to deal with anything else he will definitely get a call from me. 12.
