Client Feedback Recap: 1. I went to GWLS for an adoption. This process started in early 2023. I was told we should wait for 6 months because we just moved back to Texas. I had already moved in October 2022. I hired Ms. Dove in February 2023 and paid for the service in full. I waited the six months to be contacted. When the six months passed, I went to the office and called Ms Dove several times with no avail. So, I opened a case with the State board which forced the communication. The owner asked for another opportunity - I didn’t want to start over. All I wanted was to finalize the adoption. It finally happened Dec 2024. There is one last thing I have been waiting to receive for over a year - the new birth certificate from Georgia. Again calls and emails to Ms Dove were not returned. So, I contacted Georgia about the birth certificate and come to find out - they never received the request. I let Ms. Dove know what I learned and what Georgia required. Her response was “that explains why we haven’t received anything - I thought I sent everything off” - this after a year of waiting. She said she would have the documents for me to pick up. When I got there, all documents were not there or I didn’t know what each item was. I am waiting again for phone calls or emails. I don’t know what else to do. The receptionist is excellent at her job by keeping people at bay but how does this help me? I do refer this service to people because not everyone can afford expensive lawyers, but I also caution them about how GWLS conduct business. I pray I never have to use GWLS again.2.
