I paid a $5,000 flat fee for representation. After payment, communication became very difficult. A haphazard motion was filed in my case without my knowledge, consent or prior discussion, which was EXTREMELY concerning. When I attempted to get clarification, it took several days to receive responses, and those responses came from staff rather than the attorney herself. I have not personally spoken with the attorney since late September despite repeated attempts to get updates or guidance about my case. The representation was never formally concluded, which left me uncertain about my legal situation and feeling completely unsupported. Because of these issues, I ultimately filed a complaint with the Texas State Bar regarding the lack of communication and handling of my case. Which of course they weren't going to do anything, but it is the principal of the matter! Hiring an attorney requires trust, transparency, and consistent communication. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this firm to carefully evaluate their expectations for responsiveness, competence, and client communication before retaining their services. Be ware, I sincerely wished no stars was an option here!!! SAVE YOUR SELF A BUNCH OF MONEY, TIME AND HEARTACHE...YOU'D BE BETTER OFF REPRESENTING YOURSELF!!!2.
