I actually hired them after having a bad experience with another lawyer and they took my case from nightmare to closed in 2 weeks. After the hell I've been through that makes them miracle workers in my book. Jaclyn saved me millions on my settlement and achieved stellar results in my custody battle. Could not be more thankful and can't recommend highly enough! If I could give them 10 stars, I would. I don't know where to start. I was in a really bad situation with my ex-wife and needed legal help, and being a single dad, I thought it wasn't going to end well. JR Law Group gave me the hope that I needed. I went in there wanting "Honey Badgers" to fight for me and fight HARD for my children, and I know that is what Jaclyn (Owner) and Kacie (my attorney) did for my kids and myself. I have been pleased with my experience with JR Law Group; it is a well-run, well-oiled machine, and I couldn't be more pleased with the staff and paralegals who work with the attorneys. They fought for me as a father and my rights as a father. Kacie (my attorney) was nothing but real, kind, and down to earth, and she has been a true blessing in my life. I am happy to have my kids 50/50, and I am happy to begin a new chapter in my life. I WILL be recommending them to people in similar situations to mine, and if something happens again in the future, I will be using JR Law Group again. Thank you for everything. She sent me the wrong code to follow if there was a disagreement with custody. I was trying to enforce the wrong code due to her negligence and lost my kids for a period of time. My paperwork has multiple typos and is missing very important information. I was in a huge hurry to end my marriage with my abusive ex and because of that she was extremely careless in formatting my paperwork. I spent nearly $10,000 or more on her services and have been forced to completely redo my paperwork and hire someone else 3 years later. I do not recommend Joanie! I wish there was a zero star option. I had such high hopes for using this law firm, being a woman myself and being represented by a female attorney, and I left very disappointed with hiring JR Law. I had hoped my attorney would have my best interests in mind during divorce mediation. During mediation, my attorney kept pressuring me to sell our house and split everything. I had expressed that keeping the house was very important to me from the beginning. She said we could rent an apartment close by my child's school, so it wouldn't be a big adjustment for him. If I had listened to her, I most likely would have never gotten back in a house with the prices as a single mother. I was also told alimony was not a thing, so did not get alimony after seven years of marriage. My ex-husband makes three times what I make, so it would not have caused a hardship on him financially. I received "emergency spousal support" for twelve months, after asking about alimony several times. My DCFS domestic abuse case was supposed to be handled by my divorce attorney, since we had been having supervised visits for my kids since there was so much physical abuse. The courts had our case moved to being handled with our divorce proceedings. My attorney at JR Law Group, had my ex-husband provide a letter from his therapist that discussed if there was a concern. The letter from his therapist stated how he loved the children and would not harm them. Visitations went from supervised to unsupervised over night. The abuse that occurred afterwards was much more extreme than the last time. I am back in court with a new attorney for a protective order I had to put in place. My new attorney told me I should have received alimony. I do not recommend this law firm. Becky and Alex are a great team. The firm provided valuable information and did not take advantage of fees. Very ethical firm. Becky, I can not thank her enough. We love JR Law. Elenia is whip smart and absolutely wonderful. She really puts in the time to fully understand the case and those involved and truly does have the best interest of her clients at heart. Also, as a mother herself, she understands and can give guidance in the mess that is family court. I highly recommend working with this law group! Using JR Law for my alimony modification was the right decision. Elenia and Becky were wonderful to work with. When it came time for mediation, Elenia was right there fighting for me. I just wish I would have contacted them for my divorce. Professional, reliable, and supportive. I consider them part of my family, knowing they are there for me, to take the stress so I can focus on what matters. I would confidently recommend this firm.
