Becker Electric Company, Inc. was established over 70 years ago to provide the best electrical service available. We are still dedicated to this commitment. The company was formed by Frank M. Becker Jr. He was born on December 18, 1923, and expired peacefully at home on January 21, 2010. Due to the birth of his second son, Bill, on August 1, 1949, he founded his electrical contracting company known as Becker Electric Co., Inc. (BECO). An office at 117 S. Fairfax St. in Alexandria, VA was rented from his father-in-law, Dick Dwyer IV. In June 1961, the site of 820 Gibbon was purchased and made to be BECO's permanent location. Frank served as President of the Northern Virginia Electrical Contractors Association in 1965.
