Mr. Burchett got the charges lowered like a good attorney should before entering the Court Room. It took some time for me to explain the situation as he had a lot in his caseload for the day. After we clarified the details of the case before entering the Court Room. We mutually decided to have the case taken to trial that day. With Burchett and a good Judge, my case was found “Not Guilty”. We still do not understand in how the Magistrate was even allowed to move forward with such a case. The Commonwealth Attorney should have dropped it from the beginning. All that was being stated by the opposing party is that “I have to pay”. In speaking with Police Officers in Spotsylvania County who arrested me and outside of my case. Having a good attorney is very well worth it when such charges are placed out of spite, rather than a true crime being committed. To the Spotsylvania Arresting Officers in my case, it is nice to see those who are doing their job and being understanding at the same time. Mr. Burchett has a lot on his plate to manage with his Law Firm, but he truly listened and worked with me on the case when the time was right & needed. However, I cannot express how grateful I am for Ashley Mroczek and her staff. Ms. Mroczek is professional, knowledgeable and organized in the courtroom, yet is very aggressive at the appropriate times. Outside of the courtroom she is the voice of reason and always takes the time to explain the situations at hand. My divorce is not a "normal" divorce, with a lot of unusual twists and turns. Idk what to Even say about how impressive any wonderful type of person in the law Windsor was no hope left for me I went for sentencing and I was looking at my back time which was 7 years the craziest thing Mr.burchette pulled off was don't ask me how he did it but he did it come somehow got the judge to let me walk out of there without spending A a day in jail and got me a probation got my community service dismissed got everything dismissed for me when me and Mr. Burchat walked out of the court room shocked that this juat happened... we se my probation offixer and the Commonwealth attorney look at each others like what just happened out So if your having any type of legal issues hes your man I pride miss you you will not regret it he goes above and beyond he treats your case like it was one of his family members escapes professional very curries very honest like very straight forward hes a beast the best also the staff he has is very professional especially the receptionist she is very polite and very very nice and amazing lady like I've called they're never had any issues she's always very very polite even though I'm annoying sometimes and I can call like eight times in a row trying to get in contact with somebody show pick up like this the first time and every time I called 14. My case just finished. I was being charged with two felonies, each punishable up to 5 years in prison. As a mother and college student being involved in the judicial system for the first time, I was terrified of losing my future. From the beginning, Mr. Burchett told me things were going to be okay. He listened to every detail and negotiated the best possible outcome for me, I was happy with the results of my case. One charge was dismissed, the other was reduced to a misdemeanor with no jail time. Mr. Burchett will never judge you and is very strategic with his plan of action to give you a good outcome. I was first represented by Mr. Burchett in 2017 as a pro bono on a drug charge. I was so blessed.. his office worked so hard with my mother while I was incarcerated to get me out on a bond after having a previous record.. I got 90 days time served on a second possession of controlled substance. Not long after, the following year, I was back in jail on new charges. I hired Mr Burchett because I trusted him and his opinion. Not only that, he was so nice! So personable. I felt comfortable like we were friends!! That's really important in these situations. I was looking at 12 months in jail and 12 months in another program or something crazy like that on a first violation... some how we went to court, I got 6 months time served. I had been in there over 8 months, I was shocked! Happy is an understatement. I went home that day! I couldn't believe it! Incredible lawyer, incredible person. Will always hire again and again. Now I'm a mother and out of trouble so hopefully I won't need to lol thank you guys!!
