She will take your money and not help you, especially if you plan to hire her! One would expect the face of the company to be good, right? Wrong!! I hired this woman for my son because he looked up the company's reviews and not hers. While I sat through their conversation for about ten minutes before leaving to let them finish, I knew he was SCREWED! Zero confidence and highly unprepared. I watched her pick up a sheet of paper and ask my son what he expects her to ask his ex!! She told him he didn’t have to attend the first hearing (but he was supposed to). She then blamed it on the other attorney. My personal opinion is that the other attorney tricked her, and she fell for it hook, line and sinker. The next hearing judge was already biased, and she later revealed that she was a stand-in judge. Beth never mentioned that. On the way home, I looked up HER reviews. I then advised my son to get another attorney. Two reviewers literally called her dumb. Although I won't go to that extreme, I do not going to disagree either. After I tried reaching her and asked her for a refund after firing her, she sent us a bill for $600 more dollars. Hell will freeze over and become a ski resort before I pay her! She also lied. She told his firm that she and my son had agreed on the money she charged us. But she was ignoring his calls and sending them to voicemail. If you are searching for a knowledgeable and willing to fight attorney, steer clear of Beth Chavez! She lacks all those qualifications.
