I was the front car in a four car accident, and was struggling to balance my injuries with my responsibilities (work, family, etc.). My main goal was to be able to focus on healing, knowing that the costs would be covered. When the insurance company for the at fault driver called I was still in a bit of a haze. I shared what I remembered, and they immediately offered me $1500 to settle. I knew that wouldn’t even cover the costs to fix my car.
