I was a domestic abuse victim with a young child… Akiona told me cases like mine were “why she became a lawyer in the first place”. After paying nearly $50,000 and a 2 year game playing divorce, she threatens to stop assisting if I don’t give another $5k-$10k at a time and is not reliably responsive. Takes my money then is either on vacation or forgets I exist until I ask repeatedly and finally call the office. Waaaaaay over priced for the hype. Overall I feel very taken advantage of and eventually fired this firm. Stay away… They are feet dragging, money hungry, demanding and lazy. Literally any other divorce attorney is better than this one. Good luck! Very Helpful and understanding after consultation I fell very confident and assured with this Law firm representing me.
