McKinley Irvin Review Analysis 1. Summary: Customer feedback analysis Haley is amazing! Very knowledgeable, professional, and truly cares about her clients. She guided me through a tough family law matter with extreme patience and support. Highly recommend!!! (October 13, 2021) 2 years ago we worked with a talented attorney that helped my husband with custody and child support issues. Professional and good work. Now we need help again (children are older) and McKinley Irvin has in the interim hired the attorney representing my husband's ex-wife. So we get kicked to the curb because THEY created a conflict of interest. How nice is that, after the $$$$ we paid them and they assured us they would help in the future. Do not use this firm, they only care about money. They will over charge you and then say Oops sorry conflict of interest. Thanks for all help. (March 29, 2021) Haley Helms from McKinley Irvin represented me in a divorce that turned hostile. She made increasingly strong requests to my ex’s lawyer as he refused to provide information. She got his attorney to agree to mediation and arranged for a mediator who had over 20 years of experience. The mediation ended with a fair result for me and kept the legal expenses as low as possible. Throughout the process Haley and her paralegal Melissa provided clear information and quick responses. I’m very grateful for their guidance and kindness in a painful, scary and frustrating process. I think the result was the best possible for me. What I appreciated most was her direct honesty—she didn’t shy away from giving feedback that was sometimes hard to hear, but it was always in my best interest and necessary for making informed decisions. (October 29, 2020) Deeply unprofessional and discriminatory conduct from Theresa Lorella and this firm. Unethical law firm that refuses to provide an itemized receipt. Ms Lorella sold herself as being capable of the most difficult divorce settlements but after 3 months and tens of thousands of dollars later she was incapable of doing even the bare minimum such as get my non marital personal property back. Ms Lorella also engages in bigoted behavior and when her firm disciplined her for the matter she quit the next day in retaliation. If you are a member of any marginalized community you do not want to hire this law firm. I also believe there was a fraudulent use of funds and Ms Lorella’s relationship with opposing counsel was a serious issue. I do not believe she operated in good faith. Must be nice to collect a six figure paycheck off of the dissolution of families. (September 25, 2020) Although Nathan got me the initial paperwork he only responded back when he wanted more money. the amount of money spent was not worth it. He failed to update the judge as required. Failed to submit paperwork I requested him too. Failed to explain billing. Failed to follow the judges order. Always wanted more and more money and accomplished nothing. Then when he wanted an additional 5 to ten thousand dollars and I just paid my rearage and refurbished my escrow he dumped me claiming it was not paid in time. Not true the payment through MI billing received the payment the morning of the 30th. Unless you have a fat wallet and can dump tens of thousands on these guys do not use them they are all about money with no results. 20,000 dollars later I get my butt chewed by the judge because Nathan did not do his job then dumped me with nothing to show but a twenty thousand dollar debt. Now I have to redo all of the paperwork myself thanks for nothing Nathan. Over billed with no results (April 26, 2020) A huge thank you to my attorney Hillary and her team. Hillary has been my attorney for my custody case since 2017. Sticking with me threw the battle and coming out successful every time. I’ve done consultations with other attorneys and no one compares to Hillary Roberts. She’s worth every penny. I cannot thank her enough for her patience with me, understanding, kindness, and willingness to explain everything to me step by step. Forever grateful. Thank you Hillary.
